Candy Blitz was part of the Halloween 2020 events. For every 5 Stamina 
you spent, you got one Halloween Candy that could be spent in the Event Shop. The event ran from November 1st to 6th, 2020.
In-Game Rules[]
Event Gameplay
Spend Stamina to get Candy, which can be exchanged for rewards.
Candy
During the event, every 5 Stamina spent gives you 1 Candy (Candy may be delayed for up to 5 minutes). Candy can be exchanged for rewards in the Event Shop.
Stamina
Regain 1 Stamina every 5 minutes. Purchase Stamina to regain it faster.
Event Shop
During the event, exchange Candy for rewards. All Candy will be forfeited when the events end, so spend it in time.
Event Rewards
All event rewards will be automatically sent to your Bag. Please check your Bag for event rewards.

You could also buy 5 of any gift of clothing material for 30 Candies (150 Stamina ).
Is this worth it?[]
Players should note that this event ends before Saturday, where you get double drops from encounters. Therefore, we must decide when to use our gift boxes and if we should bother spending Diamonds to buy Stamina. This discussion primarily focuses on people who don't spend money on the game.
How much stamina/candy do we get in 6 days?[]
The event lasts 144 hours total and we get 1 Stamina every 5 minutes.
144*60/5 = 1728 Stamina
Some players will have full Stamina when the event starts, some will have 0. Let's say you start the event with 50, and you get the total 120 Stamina from friends.
(1728+50+120)/5 = 380 Candies.
Free players will see that, at most, they could purchase one of the 500 Candy clothing if they get lucky with their gift boxes. The 800+ items are out of reach if they won't spend Diamonds.
Is double drop Saturday better?[]
More math! Double drop Saturdays mean that you get an extra item (material or clothing) for every 5 Stamina you spend. 5 materials costs 30 Candies, or 6 Candy per material. This means you have to spend 30 Stamina for one extra material. If you just care about materials, you're better off waiting for Saturday.
As for the items in the recommended tab, Gold is a very low priority item. The Gold Boxes can give you tens of thousands of gold... or it could give you 200. I would recommend not spending extra stamina trying to get these boxes, but I'm a low risk player.
The Halloween Background, Gold Tickets, and Sketchbooks are the highest priority items, followed by the Cuddle Potions (in my opinion). Buying all those items would cost well over 4000 Candy.
So is this event better than Saturday? No if you only care about materials. Yes if you want the recommended items, but the Stamina cost to item is rough.
Should I spend diamonds to get clothing?[]
Let's say you really want Cheeky Bun, the hair the costs 1,000 candy or 5,000 Stamina. You get 25 Stamina for 35 Diamonds, and increases by 5 Diamonds each time you make a purchase. For ease of math, let's just say 35. This figure is impossible low since the event only lasts 6 days, but it will give is a base understanding.
5,000/25*35 = 7,000
Bad. Bad trade.
Even if you're purchasing Halloween packs and Fashion Booster and other items that reward stamina, the clothing items are really expensive. I would personally suggest focusing on Background, Gold Tickets, Sketchbooks and Cuddle Potions, but if you have enough money to get 1,000 candies we probably have different priorities.
