Petal, the Fashion Designer

Custom Couture is a feature that lets you customise specific pieces of clothing to suit your tastes. There are four aspects that are available for customisation; Fabric, Dye, Pattern and Stamp. There is no score bonus associated with this feature; it's a feature designed purely for fun.

So far, most clothing that are usable in Custom Couture are obtainable from Fashion Booster (Tier 1), with the exception of Rose Ballgown which is obtained through Isabel's Guide.

Fabric

Changing the Fabric of a clothing's position changes its material or texture. Different fabrics may have different base colours, and each position can only use one Fabric at a time.

There are six main categories of Fabric available; Cotton, Leather, Silk, Special, Metallic and Tulle.

Tulle

Note that unlike the rest of the materials, Tulle materials can only be used on specific parts of some clothing pieces. Notable clothing pieces that allow the use of Tulle materials include:

• Poem of Longing (Position 2)

If Tulle is not applicable for a specified clothing part, it will not show up as part of the available fabric options.

Dye

Dye changes the color of the clothing. Clothing will have different sections that can be dyed into different colors of the players' choosing.

In the past, there was only a limited palette of colours available for choosing and a secondary option to alter the saturation of the colour. Since the June 16th, 2023 update, players can customise colours of certain positions of clothings with much more precision, being able to alter the Hue, Saturation and Brightness of the colour in question.

Adding a colour to a completely new position costs 1,500 . Afterwards, players can further tweak the colour of an existing outfit's dye at zero cost.

Pattern

The Pattern option creates a pattern on the clothing. A pattern can be added to any position of clothing.

There are six main categories for available pattern designs; Pattern, Food, Animal, Nature, Plant, and Festival.

The blueprints of the following patterns are unlockable as players achieve certain level milestones. Additional copies of these patterns in particular may also be obtainable via Kitty Exploration, and are subsequently usable at zero material cost.

• Custom Couture received a major update with the June 16th, 2023 update, allowing players to choose from a much wider array of stamp / pattern designs, as well as being able to customise the fabric of the clothing part itself.
• For the sake of brevity, this page will only document the material cost (not crafting fees). As the final cost also takes into account the crafting fees, as well as the number of materials used, the final cost for finalizing a custom design is often (if not always) higher than the cost of a single material.
