As an exorcist, I feel that it is my responsibility to tell you about ghosts now that you have ghost-detecting eyes. There are two kinds of ghost that exist in this world, the first being ancient ghosts that existed when the world was created. Ancient ghosts are powerful but are now usually dormant. Occasionally they will wake up, and when they do, they'll generate a huge wave of energy. I believe it was that energy that activated your ghost-detecting eyes. Though, even if ancient ghosts awaken, they will usually live in seclusion on the mountains and away from earthly strife.
The second type of ghost is actually the souls of the dead. These souls have strong obsessions and are born when a person passes away. If they were obsessed with hatred, they may gradually turn into evil spirits that cause trouble in the mortal world. These evil spirits are what we exorcists deal with.
You couldn't have possibly come into contact with ancient ghosts, so maybe you did something that incurred the wrath of a spirit? After all, some of them can hate you for simply stepping on a bug by accident.
The usual ways to deal with spirits are to either comfort them or to send them off. I don't do comforting though. You may be pleading for my help right now, but you'll definitely burst into tears at the sight of me killing evil spirits.

Remember that I once told you to write a letter if you can't say things in person? Well, that is why I'm writing to you.
You may be wondering why I haven't spoken to you recently. I treated you as an apprentice. To me, an apprentice is supposed to obey their master and do as they're told.
And that's exactly what you did. If I hadn't held your hands during a mission and found them shivering with fear, I wouldn't have realized you were afraid.
It was only then that I realized I've been too careless. You're a newcomer who was crying out in fear just a few months ago, so how could you possibly cope with only a few tricks?
I wonder why you kept this to yourself. Were you afraid that I would laugh at you?
I've given this a lot of thought. I'll give you fewer missions until you become a full-fledged exorcist. If we have to go on special missions, I'll also make sure to have you by my side at all times.
It's my job to protect you after all. As your master, I hope that you'll trust me more!

Before I heard about you and the geogugwi, I never imagined that such a bond could exist between a human and a ghost.
I felt uncomfortable seeing you talk about him. Something has been wrong with me lately and that's probably one of the symptoms. I keep thinking of you, and that white-haired ghost says I've fallen in love with you. Don't you find that hilarious?
However, my symptoms have been getting rather serious. Previously, it was just my skills slipping when I went ghost-hunting with you. Now, I can't even think right when you're by my side. I think I must put some distance between you and me, but I'm also troubled by that geogugwi.
Of course, I'm definitely not jealous, and it's definitely not what the white-haired ghost said. I think if I were in the geogugwi's shoes, I'd do the same for you too, though if I'm just your master.
