In preparation for an upcoming performance and the need to manage my weight, I refrained from indulging in the delights of Yummy Fried Chicken for a week. It was truly a struggle for me, seeing how both fried chicken and spicy stir-fried rice cakes share the top spot in my heart as favorite foods!
Just yesterday, I found myself in line at a fast-food chain restaurant, ready to place my order. The customer ahead of me mentioned having a small appetite and asked if they could order half a portion. The cashier's response was that such an option didn't exist. At that moment, I was reminded of the first time I requested a one-third portion of fried chicken for you, and you met my request with a cheerful "Of course, no problem!"
This personal touch, I dare say, is perhaps the greatest difference between patronizing a small local eatery and one that's part of a large franchise.

Were you taken aback that the man that everyone calls "Mr. Explosive" turned out to be my father? Yes, Kim Jae-min and Kim Seon-woo are without a doubt father and son, even though they couldn't be more different in appearance and personality.
Don't be fooled by my dad's indifference towards me; we used to be quite close. During my time in middle school, I would rush over to the food stall after classes to help out. On occasions, customers would compliment me on my good looks. My dad would respond with a nonchalant smile, proudly claiming, "Of course, he's my son." I'd playfully tease him by saying, "Actually, I resemble my Mom more."
Our relationship probably started deteriorating around the time I received my acceptance letter from the dance academy. That was when he discovered I had been secretly studying ballet behind his back.
Well, I hope that someday he'll come to understand my choices.

Have you noticed? Our situations are actually quite similar. Despite our cheerful appearances, we both hide our sorrows deep within us.

Perhaps there are times when, in the presence of those we trust, being open about wanting to be acknowledged or helped will make things easier for us. Just like this time, I thought it would be a long time before my wish could be achieved. However, with you and your friends’ help, it has already come true.
If you ever feel troubled again, remember to call me. "Kim Seon-woo, I'm feeling down right now. Join me for a drink!" Whenever you need me, no matter where I am or what I'm doing, I'll make sure to be by your side as soon as possible.
