Greetings.
There has been a lot going on inside and outside the palace. I haven't been able to find time to see you. Have you gotten used to life in the palace?
I heard from Nydia that you like to take solitary strolls on the palace grounds, even though you often get lost. There's no needd to be embarrassed by that. It's normal—the Atlan palace is the largest and grandest building on the Verdant continent. I often got lost myself as a child. Even so, it's still best to get Nydia to help you plan a perfect route for strolling. And I must recommend the palace garden. A long time ago, my ancestor hired many workers to create it. There is a wide variety of bizarre plants there, as well as living creatures. It's like a park consisting of all the flora and fauna of the entire Verdant continent. Besides, I'm sure you'll love the goldfish in the fountain pool. Of course, there are some areas where you shouldn't walk, so please listen to Nydia's advice.

Good day.
How are you doing? Nydia says you're busy learning etiquette, and you've even stopped taking strolls. We're still a long time away from the day of the festival, so you need not be so anxious. However, I do feel reassured that you seem to have made yourself part of it all.
Do you still remember what I said about my sister Linore? As the festival approaches, we shall be able to meet. Perhaps you are right, and I should think about what she wants. Of course, I still won't change my mind on what I want to do for her, so don't bother trying to advise me.
Oh yes, a guard reported to me that you often mutter to yourself by the fountain while holding a shell. I'm curious, but I also feel rather guilty. Is palace life too boring for you? Why don't you take a stroll around the Brinefin Dockyard? I have secret work being done there that no one is supposed to see. However, since you've already discovered it... I'll give you special permission to visit it.

Dear Ondine
As I write this letter, I feel more nervous, or perhaps more excited, than ever before. I have always considered myself independent and decisive. Be it the legend of Azurnon's wrath, or the constant surveillance by the power-hungry Council, I have never known fear—the word does not even exist in my dictionary. For Linore's freedom, I am willing to sacrifice everything. But then, our shared goal enabled us to grow closer. You, my companion on the road to rebellion, are here. Perhaps your presence won't change my situation, but I am still delighted. Do you know that when one has been walking a dark and twisted path for too long, one inevitably sinks into a pit of contradictory obstinacy and doubt? Your companionship has strengthened my belief that I am going in the right direction. And now, I have made up my mind that no matter what happens on this path, I shall stand by your side, and be with you until the end.
