You know, I never thought that I would write you a letter. But I'm curious about you. I've heard that letters can convey one's sincerity, so perhaps writing to you will finally convince you to be honest with me. Don't worry, I know that if I want something, I have to give something in return. So here's the deal... I'll answer any questions about this world that you might have. But don't try to pry into my affairs. I won't reveal any of my secrets.
Don't think about escaping either.
Remember, I'm the one who found you in that other world, and I can find you here too. One more thing... I've found a chef to make the "burgers" you've talked about.
They look very strange though, and I refuse to eat them. My subordinates have tried them, though, and they all claim that these burgers are quite tasty. You know where to find me if you want a bite.

Dear Maya,
Remember how flustered you were when you first returned to this world? Well, look at how you've acclimated now. Even so, I'll lend you a hand if you run into any trouble... just give me a heads up. You've probably figured it out by now, but this world is not as peaceful as the one you came from. There are dangers everywhere, and it's hard to know whom to trust. We can only rely on ourselves. But you're lucky, because you can rely on me.
I promise.
Last week, another batch of babies was ready to leave the Nursery. One of the little girls there with big bright eyes reminded me of you. I told you this before, but this place gives me hope. You should come here too if you have the chance. Watching a tiny embryo grow into a human with thoughts and feelings really makes you appreciate the miracle of life.
You once asked me what I think the future should look like. I desire to see a flourishing society where everyone will have a better life, with no pain or disease, but that's not all. I still have many other ideas, but I need more time to mull over them further. Why don't you visit me when you're free? I'd like to know what you think.

Dearest Maya,
To be honest, when you first arrived here, I never expected things to turn out this way.
You really are something, aren't you?
What other surprises do you have up your sleeve?
When I made it out of the slums, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and I've never wavered from that goal. I didn't think that anyone could sway me, but you did. I started to question myself, and wondered if what I've been pursuing was truly worth it, and if it was what I really wanted. There are many ways that I could achieve my goals, but I didn't want to choose a path that I'd regret. I once believed that humans has to become strong and indestructible to eliminate all pain and suffering, but I see now that that isn't the case. When I look at you and that cyborg, I realize how much pain and darkness you still carry inside you, even though your bodies have reached peak perfection. I realize now that we are all connected, and the only thing that can really changed our fates is love.
You've changed my fate, and now we're changing humanity's fate for the better.
Shadows will always exist as long as there is light. But the changes I've helped make a reality are proof that despite what I've done in the past, I have now returned to the light. I hope the from this day forward, you'll be a part of humanity's future—and mine. I vow to protect this hard-won light with you.
