1-1 Awkward Breakfast[]

There are many witnesses to Marie's breakfast with the King. Feeling uneasy, she tries to make conversation with the King, but is mocked by the people for not knowing proper etiquette. Unable to stand it any longer, Marie snaps back. After breakfast, she takes a stroll in the garden, and eavesdrops on noble ladies talking about her and the King.

Marie disguises herself as a servant to follow Louis, but runs into Blaisdell. Blaisdell seems to have guessed Marie's intentions, and drops her a hint. After she finally manages to shake off Blaisdell, Marie discovers that the King is no longer in the study.
