Let me say the unpleasant stuff first. Although I understand why His Majesty would agree to let you and that dangerous beast into the palace, I believe he has his reservations. I will be keeping my eyes on the two of you, for His Majesty's safety. I will not be merciful if that beast harbors any ill intentions towards His Majesty, no matter how much you beg, and regardless of whether it is the legendary beast that wiped out a dynasty.
His Majesty's safety is of utmost importance to me, and I will not tolerate anyone looking to test my determination to protect him.
In any case, take care of yourself and that beast of yours, and don't let me catch you two causing trouble in the palace.

I saw you training that beast a few days ago, and I couldn't bear to continue watching. For the sake of achieving his Majesty's wish of getting that beast to protect the Persian Empire, I think it's best for me to teach you some tricks we soldiers use to train animals.
I've written the steps and tricks in the accompanying booklet, where the trick is basically the carrot and stick approach. You'll have to decide how you want to use it, but I think the most important thing is to build a mutual understanding between you and that beast first, before using these tricks to train it. Nothing good will come out of forcing that beast to do specific tasks, or punishing it endlessly!

There must've been some progress in the Manticore's training, right? Endlessly training it new things the moment it understands something is very pressurizing. It might even achieve the opposite effect, and face the same fate as the Mad King.
You know the story of how His Majesty overthrew the Mad King, right? He helped eradicate a mad tyrant for the people of his land, taking revenge for my father's death while doing so. That's why I want to protect His Majesty with the spear and the will my father left behind.
Going back to the topic, although you might face problems while training the Manticore, you must never punish it without good reason. I might say this, but I don't think you're that kind of person.

- Yasmin is 20 years old, and about 168cm tall in height.
- According to the author, Yasmin was made slightly older than Yazdan in order to feel more like an older sister figure.
- Yasmin is a huge cat lover at heart. According to the author, Yasmin's manticore tattoo on her waist was not only because of the need to cover up a scar she got while serving as captain of the royal troops, but also due to her love for cats.
