After all, anyone who suddenly finds themselves in unfamiliar territory would feel uneasy and confused. All I can do now is to help you and make sure that you're safe.
There are still some things that I can't tell you right now, and I know that you're still wary of me, But I think it's best for you to see things for yourself and to form your own conclusions.

To be honest, Maya, I was surprised to see how independent you've become. I'm really happy to see you getting used to this world and becoming more determined. I'm also glad to see that you've made new friends here. But there are still many dangers lurking about, and you can't let your guard down.

Dear Maya,
It's time for me to tell you the truth about myself. My life changed when I first met you all those years ago. Strange, isn't it? You were just a little girl back then, and I had already grown numb to the cruelties of the world. I lost both my parents when I was young, and after that, I became a test subject for a cyborg experiment. That was when I met Matt, and realized that our outlook on life determines how wee move forward. Though I knew that then, I only truly understood it when I met you. Not just the you of the past, but the you now. I've finally understood that we have to rely on our own will to move ahead. And that through hard work, and by being good and kind, we can make a world a better place, even if it's only a little bit better than before.
You've given me so much comfort, Maya. as a child, you encouraged me and showed me what it's like to have a family. Now, as an adult, you've given me direction and the strength to carry on.
We've both become better people together.
I've struggled with being a cyborg. It was hard for me to accept that identity because it was forced onto me. But now, I've finally accepted who I am. We can't change what's happened. All we can do is to move forward.
I hope that I will always be holding your hand in the future that awaits us, Maya.
